Episode 21 recap: Lin Bao'er is kidnapped by Dou Lili.
Finally, Lord Zhu also realizes that Lin Bao'er is the Xue Tong from years ago. He then sees a family photo of them and directly burns it. It seems that Lord Zhu has other plans. Zhu Guan Wen is awakened in a daze, and he keeps calling out Lin Bao'er's name. When he learns that Lin Bao'er has already gone home, he decides not to go home even after being offered assistance.
Zhu Guan Wen is still brought back home, and when Lin Bao'er sees that Zhu Guan Wen is drunk, she prepares to sleep on the sofa. Seeing Zhu Guan Wen being so aggressive, Lin Bao'er finally bites him, but Zhu Guan Wen continues his actions without stopping. The next morning, when Zhu Guan Wen wakes up from his hangover, he thinks that Lin Bao'er is still by his side, but he finds himself alone in bed.
Zhu Guan Wen immediately gets up from the bed and hastily goes downstairs. By that time, Lin Bao'er is already downstairs, preparing to have breakfast. Lord Zhu specially prepares nourishing soup for Lin Bao'er. Zhu Guan Wen rushes downstairs and sees his father having a meal with Lin Bao'er, finally feeling relieved and ready to go back and change his clothes.
Lin Bao'er is trying on clothes at a clothing store when Dou Lili unexpectedly appears behind her. Dou Lili knocks Lin Bao'er unconscious and takes her away in a car. One of the subordinates notices this incident and quickly informs Zhu Guan Wen. Zhu Guan Wen hurriedly goes to search for Dou Lili and Lin Bao'er.
At this point, Dou Lili can be considered insane. She is holding a branding iron, intending to leave a mark on Lin Bao'er's body. Dou Lili pours gasoline on Lin Bao'er, determined to watch her burn to death. Dou Lili throws a torch toward Lin Bao'er.
