Episode 5 recap: The relationship between Zhu Guanwen and Lin Baoer has become even more ambiguous.
Lin Bao'er has now taken care of Qian Tong, and she swears to help her father reclaim everything that belongs to the Lin family. She has started to get involved in the cargo transportation business, and Chief Yang instructed his subordinates to closely monitor Lin Bao'er, as he feels that there is something suspicious about her. Chief Yang was genuinely afraid when he witnessed Lin Bao'er's ruthlessness that evening.
Zhu Guanwen also learns that Lin Bao'er has taken control of the cargo center. He celebrates with drinks and tells Lin Bao'er that the waters in town are not as shallow as she imagines, implying that she needs his help.
