Episode 9 recap: Zhu Guan Wen's confession was rejected.
Inspector Yang could only hide everywhere now. After all, Lord Zhu had completely lost faith in him and even decided to have someone take care of Inspector Yang. As soon as Lin Bao'er returned to her bedroom, she saw a candlelit dinner prepared by Zhu Guan Wen. In fact, Lin Bao'er had been restraining herself. She didn't want to fall in love with Zhu Guan Wen. They took wedding photos together, and Zhu Guan Wen showed genuine affection, hoping that Lin Bao'er wouldn't reject him.
Soon it was the joyous day for Lin Bao'er and Zhu Guan Wen. Some people were talking behind their backs, saying that Dou Lili couldn't compare to Lin Bao'er. At that moment, while Lin Bao'er was putting on makeup, a man walked in with a gun. Surprisingly, it was Inspector Yang. Lin Bao'er wasn't surprised, and Inspector Yang called her by her real name, Xue Tong.
