Episode 21 recap: Jing Qi Er overcomes her fear of crowds.

Huan Yun Hua suddenly claims to have a terminal illness called "Peach Blossom Eczema," which won't be life-threatening but will disfigure him. He asks Jing Qi Er to leave him. However, Jing Qi Er firmly refuses to abandon him and removes Huan Yun Hua's hand covering his face. But when Jing Qi Er sees the dense red dots on Huan Yun Hua's face, her fear of crowds causes her to faint.

Jing Qi Er stands in front of Huan Yun Hua's door, wanting to apologize to him. Huan Yun Hua appears sorrowful and doesn't allow Jing Qi Er to enter. However, Jing Qi Er declares that she can overcome her fear of crowds. She kicks the door open, stares directly at Huan Yun Hua's face for a while, and realizes that she has truly overcome her fear. They share a passionate kiss, and Huan Yun Hua wipes off the disguise on his face, revealing that he did it all for Jing Qi Er. Jing Qi Er is deeply moved, and Huan Yun Hua encourages her to participate in the martial arts competition. Jing Qi Er lives up to everyone's expectations, wins first place, and receives the "Returning Yuan Pill."

Jing Qi Er returns home holding the Returning Yuan Pill. Her father, who was previously lively and practicing martial arts, immediately pretends to be bedridden. Jing Qi Er hands the Returning Yuan Pill to her father, and he expresses great joy. Ying Ji Ping remains troubled as to why Jing Qi Er doesn't like him, and even Ying Jie Fu asks him why everyone has forgotten about their attempt to steal from the tea house. Without hearing them, Ying Ji Ping wonders if it's because of his physique and runs out.

Ying Ji Ping waits in the courtyard with a box of pills, hoping for Jing Qi Er's arrival. At that moment, Jing Qi Er returns.
