Episode 3 recap: Jing Qi Er and Huan Yun Hua argued over the key.

The set of rules written by Ying Jiefu was very long. Jing Qi Er and Huan Yun Hua were tired of waiting for it to be finished. Jing Qi Er passed the time by snacking on dried fruits, but his behavior of littering everywhere displeased Huan Yun Hua. Huan Yun Hua demanded that Ying Jiefu add another rule stating that his wife must be gentle and virtuous, so that Jing Qi Er wouldn't be so rude. Jing Qi Er, unwilling to back down, demanded that another rule be added, prohibiting them from revealing their identities. He pounded the table while making his demand and ended up breaking the table. The peonies outside the door assumed that the newlywed couple's bedroom activities had become too intense, causing the bed to collapse. They offered to bring another bed, but Huan Yun Hua made up an excuse to dismiss them.

After the peonies left, they locked the room door before leaving. Ying Jiefu had no choice but to stay behind. The three of them argued and eventually decided to sleep together on the bed. The next morning, the couple served tea to the peonies, who were delighted. According to the rules, the key to the teahouse should be handed over to the couple. Upon hearing this, Jing Qi Er and Huan Yun Hua immediately began fighting over it. In the end, the peonies made the final decision and arranged a tea-making competition to determine the owner of the key.

However, Jing Qi Er had no idea how to make tea. She closely observed Huan Yun Hua on the opposite side and clumsily followed his steps to barely complete the task. Huan Yun Hua brewed excellent tea, while Jing Qi Er's tea resembled dishwater. But when the peonies saw Jing Qi Er, they saw a reflection of their younger selves and decided to give the key to her. At that moment, Uncle Er stepped forward to oppose the decision, but Huan Yun Hua spoke up for Jing Qi Er, claiming that he would teach her. Jing Qi Er went along with it while secretly feeling for the key around the peonies' waist.
