Episode 4 recap: Huan Yun Hua teaches Jing Qi Er the art of tea.

Huan Yun Hua takes advantage of the situation and asks Jing Qi Er to pay respects to him as her master. Jing Qi Er reluctantly tries to please Huan Yun Hua and begrudgingly calls him "Master." However, when Huan Yun Hua tries to teach Jing Qi Er, she completely ignores his instructions and starts dozing off. Huan Yun Hua wakes her up and, frustrated by Jing Qi Er's lack of enthusiasm, decides to teach her some basic tea techniques. He guides her step by step, but it still has no effect. Huan Yun Hua then decides to focus on teaching Jing Qi Er tea tasting. He instructs Jing Qi Er to taste the tea in front of her, but she quickly gulps it down without much thought and hastily offers her opinions on each cup. Huan Yun Hua becomes angry and scolds her, but Jing Qi Er, annoyed by his words, ends up beating him up.

When Ying Jie Fu applies medicine to Huan Yun Hua, she feels sorry for him and wants to hold Jing Qi Er accountable. However, Huan Yun Hua stops her. Nevertheless, Huan Yun Hua still wants to subdue Jing Qi Er to gain full control of the tea house. He asks Ying Ji Ping about his findings, and Ying Ji Ping tells him that Jing Qi Er is incredibly skilled in martial arts, and only a highly skilled individual can defeat her. He adds that Jing Qi Er has one fatal weakness. Huan Yun Hua realizes that Jing Qi Er has a fear of crowded places, remembering the day she wore a blindfold.

Huan Yun Hua gives Jing Qi Er some honeycomb honey. As soon as Jing Qi Er sees it, she feels uncomfortable in her body. Huan Yun Hua tries a few more times and confirms his suspicion. Jing Qi Er realizes that Huan Yun Hua intentionally played a trick on her and chases after him to beat him up. Sai Mudan witnesses the scene and recalls her own past, becoming even more satisfied with Jing Qi Er.

Huan Yun Hua decides to give up on indirect methods and plans to steal directly tonight. Jing Qi Er makes the same decision.
