Episode 15 recap: Jiang Tian started looking for a new job.
Zhou Ye Wen found Ma Ronghua and asked who he was. Ma Ronghua told him to leave, but Zhou Ye Wen insisted that he settle the payment for the project first. Jiang Tian approached another renovation company, but they also rejected her. She faced many setbacks in her job search, which made her very upset.
Jiang Tian made an appointment with Xiao Qiu to visit Zhu Zhu's house. Xiao Qiu saw the ruined house and wondered what kind of deep grudge could lead to such destruction. Ma Ronghua told them that he didn't have any money left and had used it all to pay off his gambling debts. Jiang Tian arrived just in time and asked Ma Ronghua why they should believe him. Ma Ronghua showed his phone, displaying transfer records. He also mentioned that he had a daughter who had just started elementary school and pleaded with Jiang Tian to spare him.
Zhou Ye Wen and Wu Jing Fang advised Jiang Tian not to believe him, but Jiang Tian decided to let him go. Wu Jing Fang complained about Jiang Tian's decision, but Jiang Tian explained that since Ma Ronghua had no ability to repay, they could take their time. Wu Jing Fang asked Jiang Tian if her father would be willing to support her financially. Jiang Tian replied that her father was ruthless and not someone who would clean up her mess. Jiang Tian told her that she was already looking for a job and had already sent resumes to several companies in Beijing. Wu Jing Fang wanted to persuade Jiang Tian to stay, but Jiang Tian told her that she had also been looking for a job for Wu Jing Fang. Wu Jing Fang angrily went back to her room.
