Episode 18 recap: Jiang Tian agreed to the interview.
Zhou Ye Wen asked Jiang Tian why she was avoiding him, and Jiang Tian felt that during this special period, it would be better for them to maintain some distance. Zhou Ye Wen mentioned the incident from that day, but Jiang Tian told him that nothing happened that day.Wu Jing Fang went to Old Li's house again to discuss the renovation. The two brothers started arguing again, but Wu Jing Fang told them both to shut up. Jiang Tian was surrounded by several reporters as soon as she returned home. They had heard from Li Jia'an that they wanted to interview them. Jiang Tian refused them, but they persisted and wanted to interview her. Wu Jing Fang heard the commotion and quickly came over, telling them that they could accept the interview, but not now.
She told them to schedule another time. Jiang Tian angrily said, "What appointment? I won't accept the interview at all." Jiang Tian pushed the door and went back home in anger. Wu Jing Fang told them that she also wanted Jiang Tian to accept the interview because it would be beneficial for their work.
Wu Jing Fang told them to wait in the yard for a while, while she went to persuade Jiang Tian. Wu Jing Fang told Jiang Tian that they were not in the wrong, and they were also doing it for the sake of completing their work. Wu Jing Fang asked Old Li if they kept arguing like this, would they eventually be kicked out. Old Li cooperatively said yes. Jiang Tian wanted to consider Xiao Qiu as her future business partner, but Xiao Qiu refused. He didn't plan to continue in this line of work. Jiang Tian asked Wu Jing Fang why she wanted a divorce, and Wu Jing Fang told her that the reason was quite cliché—her ex-husband had cheated on her. They also discussed their future lives.
