I actually quite like the trio of Lao Wu, Ding Yi, and Wang Auntie. Maybe it's because of their advanced age, but every time they appear, they really capture my attention. Despite being retired, one runs a small business at home and handles community affairs, another finally gets to live life on her own terms, and Lao Wu is even able to redefine his life's trajectory.

This drama is only worth watching for the celebrities, not for the storyline. The screenwriter has a huge plot hole in their head and lacks a deep understanding of the profession of designers.
They simply make things up. Designers are responsible for design and coordinating with the construction site, but they are not in charge of supervising the construction.
Any quality issues on the construction site are the responsibility of the contractor. The only time it becomes the designer's problem is when the actual construction deviates from the drawings and there was no coordination.
Please don't blame everything on the designer. It misleads the audience. Moreover, if the materials are purchased by the property owner, it has even less to do with the designer.
It tarnishes the design industry. Designers rely on intellectual work. It's not as simple as drawing a few pictures. There are now too many dramas depicting the role of designers.
I hope the screenwriters can take the time to understand the work of this profession before writing scripts. As a designer, our industry is already misunderstood by many people, and now we have these ignorant screenwriters misleading the audience.
It's truly harmful.
