The female lead is basically portraying me. It's not that we have inherently bad nature, but rather the outside world has forced us to become prickly like hedgehogs. Our indifference is a way of protecting ourselves. After watching the latest 13 episodes, I have many emotions. The biggest realization is to never be a saint. Those who hesitate and delay when it comes to giving money in the beginning will only bring more trouble in the end.

This drama seems to be inspired by the movie "The Intern" starring Robert De Niro. However, in that movie, the attitude of the young people towards the elderly was normal, unlike this drama which is filled with discrimination, insults, and awkward black humor towards older women. Wang Zi Wen's portrayal of this girl is really annoying. She lacks even the basic courtesy. She definitely doesn't represent the modern young people. I gave up watching after two episodes because it was really unappealing.

The intention is good, and the character setting has great potential, but it becomes discouraging after watching for about 10 minutes. The framing technique resembles that of 80s TV dramas, with close-ups of characters dominating the screen while neglecting the background. The NPCs are stiff and lack depth, appearing like 2D background actors. The dialogue is awkward and difficult to comprehend without engaging one's brain...

While on a business trip, I had some free time in the hotel and watched a couple of episodes (skipped the first few). It felt quite heartwarming. Aunt Wu is adorable and always manages to provide a little warmth to Jiang Gong when he's feeling down. However, the client keeps compressing the design cycle, which is frustrating and affecting the creative process. My creative DNA is stirred, and I'm not happy about it. ????

I thought it was okay at first, until Jiang Tian got tricked by Ma Ronghua. Even Aunt Wu caught him, but she didn't call the police. She even paid his debts for him. You believe any story he makes up without using your brain. What's wrong with you? The problem is, you're also incapable. You owe a ton of debts, and it's driving me crazy. What kind of saintly white lotus are you? Who are you trying to impress with your self-righteousness? This female lead character has really infuriated me. I don't think I've ever given such a low rating before. It's making my blood pressure skyrocket.

It should be a relatively heartwarming storyline. The female lead's character design is not very likable at the beginning, but it will become more enjoyable later on. The actors all deliver their performances quite naturally, igniting the desire to keep watching. Teacher Deng Jie is still quite beautiful, with a great temperament. The female lead has good fashion sense, and the supporting character is more suitable for modern dramas. He's handsome and adorable. Watching him in period costumes doesn't quite match his appearance and temperament, as if he has traveled back in time.

Tencent and iQiyi are broadcasting non-stop, but after watching three episodes, I don't feel like continuing. There are just too many TV dramas coming out lately. Deng Jie hasn't acted in TV dramas for quite some time, right? The most memorable one for me is "Kangxi's Secret Diary." I suspect that the storyline might have been inspired by Anne Hathaway's "The Intern.

The initial character setup of the female lead may not be very likable, but such people do exist in reality. Teacher Deng Jie has a great temperament, and I really like her character. It's rare to find someone with such stable emotions. Xiao Bai is still as handsome as ever; he has completely captured my heart! The plot definitely has its flaws, but it's a fictional story to begin with, so when I watch TV dramas, I don't take it too seriously. As long as it's passable, it's fine.

The plot is so frustrating, unable to finish work, constantly struggling before dawn. Getting moved by a piece of bread? Not dismantling the computer hard drive to create dramatic conflicts. Turning a technician into a salesperson, the workload would exhaust any colleague. In real life, women over 30 struggle to find jobs, but in TV dramas, even at 60 years old, they can still be employed. Are they trying to create a glorified science fiction film?

I have a friend who is a designer, and she has an assistant who is in her fifties or sixties. Many people may not be aware that besides the design work, being a designer also involves some physically demanding tasks that don't require high qualifications. For example, going to the construction materials market, visiting construction sites, and supervising the work. These tasks can be learned through practice and experience. What's important is being diligent, thorough, and responsible. Many middle-aged and elderly people possess these qualities. They are down-to-earth and hardworking! However, some parts of this drama still have some exaggerated plotlines.
