Episode 26 recap: Dai Zhi Yong visited Chen Jun's hometown.
Dai Zhi Yong was concerned about Hou Kuai Le living alone, so he came to patrol every night. At first, Hou Kuai Le didn't know, but when the neighbors noticed Dai Zhi Yong's behavior, Hou Kuai Le started waiting until Dai Zhi Yong left before going to sleep.One day, Hou Kuai Le stopped Dai Zhi Yong during his patrol and confronted him about coming to their doorstep every night. Hou Kuai Le asked Dai Zhi Yong to stop coming and to rest well. He informed Dai Zhi Yong that he had rented a house near his workplace and would be moving out the next day.
Dai Zhi Yong immediately offered to help Hou Kuai Le move the next day. When Hou Kuai Le asked about Hou Ping An, Dai Zhi Yong took out a photo of Jia Lin and asked if Hou Kuai Le recognized her. However, Hou Kuai Le had never seen Jia Lin before.
Lu Jiang went to the New Star Building where Xu Mai jumped off and inspected the site. He couldn't understand why Xu Mai chose this place to commit suicide and suspected that someone who was familiar with the conflicts between Xu Mai and Xu Ke Ji deliberately lured him to jump off the building where Xu Ke Ji had shares. However, that person overlooked Xu Mai's mental state before his death. It was impossible for him to calmly and accurately find Xu Ke Ji's WeChat and send such a condemning message.
Lu Qi discovered a major clue, and Lu Jiang immediately rushed back to the police station.
