Episode 9 recap: The murderer of Mrs. Jiang is Fang Runsheng.
Jiang Liqi asked Fang Runsheng curiously about the person he mentioned, but Fang Runsheng didn't answer. They had just run a short distance when a voice sounded in Fang Runsheng's ear. It said that if he took Jiang Liqi away, all their previous efforts would be in vain. Seeing that Fang Runsheng ignored the voice, the person revealed his true form. Jiang Liqi was so frightened that she collapsed to the ground.
Under the cover of the night, Shen Xiuning and Li Canglang found Fang Lian's memorial tablet. When Lord Fang appeared at the door, the two suddenly pretended to faint.
