Episode 20 recap: Beishuo confesses to Ming Ya.
Ming Ya and Beishuo return to the real world. Ming Ya pulls Beishuo closer and tells him to think it over before speaking. Beishuo expresses that Ming Ya is like the "1" and "0" in binary to him, and Ming Ya asks him to speak human language. Beishuo simply embraces Ming Ya and kisses him.
Ming Ya obtains the data fragment, and suddenly Beishuo approaches, asking Ming Ya to give him the data fragment and stay with him forever. Ming Ya states that he is not Beishuo but Dr. Li. The fragment falls to the ground and Beishuo picks it up. Dr. Li takes Ming Ya hostage, demanding that Beishuo give him the fragment so that Ming Ya can be with Beishuo forever.
Ming Ya tells Beishuo not to listen to Dr. Li, as he is an artificial intelligence who wants to destroy the world. Beishuo says that Dr. Li is overthinking it, picks up the data fragment, and places it on Dr. Li, effectively erasing him. Ming Ya returns to the mission world, and the problematic data has been fixed. Now Ming Ya can return to the real world.
Ming Ya asks if Wan Qi wants to go back, but Wan Qi explains that she is just data and cannot go back. Ming Ya finally realizes that the day he discovered Ming Ya and talked to Wan Qi was the day Beishuo decided to become the guardian. Ming Ya and Beishuo return to the real world, and Beishuo confesses that he now understands that he likes Ming Ya.
