Episode 4 recap: Ming Ya's appearance is restored.

Ming Ya's veil is lifted, revealing his face, and the Crown Prince is astonished to see that Ming Ya's face has healed. Ming Ya states that their agreement is still valid, and the Crown Prince instructs Ming Ya and Beishuo to quickly go out and parade through the streets. After Ming Ya and Beishuo return, they sit in the room, both feeling extremely awkward and unsure of what to say.

Ming Ya retrieves a hidden knife from under the pillow and stabs Beishuo, expressing his desire to take Beishuo's life. Ming Ya states that the Crown Prince can come in, and the Crown Prince happily enters the room. The Crown Prince obtains the imperial edict from the box, stating that Beishuo can no longer use the imperial edict to claim the throne.

Ming Ya suggests that the Crown Prince should give him the antidote, but the Crown Prince admits that he doesn't have the antidote either. The Crown Prince mentions that every year during the Qingming Festival, he will burn more paper for Ming Ya and Beishuo. Beishuo says there's no need for the Crown Prince to go through the trouble, as he had previously told Ming Ya that his appearance would be restored when the yin and yang merge.

Beishuo kisses Ming Ya, and indeed, Ming Ya's face is restored. The Crown Prince discovers that the imperial edict in his hand is actually fake, and he becomes extremely angry. The Crown Prince takes a knife and attempts to stab Beishuo, but the artificial intelligence appears and intervenes, protecting the safety of the mission characters by pushing Ming Ya and taking the blow. Ming Ya returns to the mission world feeling very frustrated.
