Episode 11 recap: Kuang Qing Kui learned about Chen Shan He's identity.
After Chen Shan He went out, he was intercepted by someone unexpected - Liao Liusi's man. Liao Liusi showed Chen Shan He the missing person notice published in the newspaper, and immediately recognized him as one of the three children from the family many years ago. Chen Shan He was not afraid and even claimed to have evidence of their past murders. Furthermore, they had killed some American merchants at the time. If this information were to be revealed to their descendants, Liao Liusi and his group would be in trouble.
With no other choice, Liao Liusi had to let Chen Shan He go. Chen Shan He knew that his identity had been exposed, so he intentionally deceived Liao Liusi, buying himself some time. During this opportunity, Chen Shan He sent away all the goods. However, unexpectedly, Kuang Qing Kui happened to see them at the intersection. At that time, Kuang Qing Kui didn't recognize Chen Shan He, so it didn't attract much attention.

After returning home, he gave He Yu Fang some money and asked her to open a medicine shop. However, he was surprised to find Liao Liusi and Kuang Qing Kui blocking the entrance. Fortunately, He Yu Fang had managed to hide beforehand. Chen Shan He understood their intentions, and Kuang Qing Kui didn't intend to take his life. They had all left, and Chen Shan He was puzzled as to why they didn't kill him when they had the chance.
Liao Liusi couldn't understand why Kuang Qing Kui didn't kill Chen Shan He, while Kuang Qing Kui admired Chen Shan He's ability to survive for ten years by selling herbs. Tan Yao Heng brought Chen Wei Qing's cooking mentor, his grandmother, to reconcile the two. Grandma wanted them to stop quarreling and even brought food for them to share. Tan Yao Heng was worried that Grandma wouldn't be able to return, so he sent her off on a boat. Before leaving, Chen Wei Qing expressed gratitude to Grandma.
Chen Shan He told Boss Xu that Western medicine was indeed useful. He didn't mean to stop selling Chinese medicine in the future but believed that combining Western and Chinese medicine would provide better treatment for patients.
