He Yufang watched her brother being taken away like that. On December 13, 1927, the Guangzhou Uprising failed, and the Nationalist Party's army mercilessly slaughtered the Communist Party and Red Guards who participated in the uprising. Kuang Qingkui even ordered his subordinates to kill them without hesitation. However, some Communists were captured and taken away, currently being held under the guise of ordinary citizens.
