I have finished watching all four of the currently updated episodes, and personally, I think it's really good and enjoyable. The young actors are very talented, and the three siblings are also impressive as they grow up. They have distinct personalities, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Chen Shanhe finally enters Nanlu Medicine Shop and has the opportunity to carry forward the legacy of Heji Medicinal Store. Chen Wei becomes an apprentice at Guangzhou Grand Restaurant and officially starts learning culinary skills. From initially being rebellious to settling down and committing to learning the craft earnestly, he doesn't want to disappoint Master Caiting. Zhang Han's performance is quite good, and the younger sister has become a renowned opera actress. Her makeup during performances is truly beautiful!

I have no knowledge of Lingnan culture, but based on the few episodes I've seen so far, the plot is gradually unfolding and worth watching. Each of the three siblings' storylines corresponds to a different aspect of Lingnan culture: traditional opera, Chinese herbal medicine, and Cantonese cuisine. It seems like the screenwriter has done a good job with their research (or maybe they genuinely have no understanding). I hope the subsequent storyline doesn't fall apart. Zhang Han's acting skills are not as exaggerated as some people say, Guo Xiaoting is consistently good, Yang Shuo's portrayal of age is a bit stronger, and the young actors are also doing a great job.

I enjoy period dramas like this, as well as the pacing and Lingnan characteristics of this show. Even though I'm not from Guangdong, I inexplicably love the culture and atmosphere of Lingnan. The actors in the drama, including the child actors, are all doing a great job. I hope the upcoming plot will become even more exciting! Five stars!

The director is terrible. Casting a 50-year-old to play a 20-year-old is just brainless and an eyesore. And they went off-topic as well. Why not incorporate some unique features of the Pearl River? Are the South and the North the same? The script is also too cliché and outdated. The filters are too distorted. There are just too many flaws. I would give it a negative score.

My family was watching, so I glanced at it too, and I saw Zhang Han playing a traffic police officer who drags people! It was shocking to see an actor playing a traffic police officer in a prime time slot on CCTV-1. It almost made my eyeballs pop out of their sockets! I always thought that the relationship between CCTV-1 and traffic police officers would only be discussed on a program like "Today's Statement," but I never expected there to be such a connection...

The storyline is pretty good, but the actors are a bit too old. They went from being teenagers to middle-aged in an instant, which feels off. And that antagonist, his dialogue is really unpleasant to listen to. Whenever he speaks, it's so irritating. The voice is incredibly grating! It's even worse when placed in a Cantonese opera! It's such a well-crafted drama, but the casting was not done carefully enough!

Recently, I've been watching this drama with my mom, and it's really good! Cao Jun looks so lively. The three siblings each have their own captivating storylines, which I love. When Cao Jun and his younger sister joined another theater troupe, that scene where he kicked the newspaper was hilarious. And Zhang Han's portrayal of the second brother, with his absent-mindedness and competing with Li Naiwen, the food critic, is also enjoyable to watch. Currently, the eldest brother is preparing for revenge. I wonder when the siblings will finally recognize each other?

The first few episodes were decent, but the recent ones have been disappointing. I thought it would be an inspirational drama, showcasing how the three children achieve high levels of expertise in their respective fields. However, it didn't focus much on that. The female lead's training process was barely shown, and she suddenly became skilled. The learning process of the two male leads also felt uninteresting. I'm not sure how it will develop later on, but for now, I'll just watch and see.

Those who spread negativity will inevitably face consequences. Giving a one-star rating without even watching the show is unfair. You're like a headless fly, mindlessly following the rhythm set by news rumors. Don't you have your own judgment? Do you think actors without scandals or controversies are automatically pure? Shouldn't those who refuse to please the media be prepared to face backlash?

The overall makeup and set design of the drama are highly authentic. The storylines of Yang Shuo, Zhang Han, and Guo Xiao Ting, the three siblings, each have their own highlights. Especially Zhang Han's storyline, I didn't expect him to portray an ordinary character with such charm, breaking away from his previous domineering CEO image. Guo Xiao Ting's Cantonese opera appearance is also impressive, and her romantic storyline with Cao Jun is quite engaging. Hopefully, their relationship won't end badly.
