Episode 24 recap: Zhu Ying Hua personally seeks revenge for her son.
Soon, the staff at Luhe Hall discovered that Second Uncle had never left District 8. They informed Zhu Ying Hua about this, but she initially didn't believe it. Later, she discovered that Second Uncle was still meeting with the Luo family. At this point, Second Uncle was planning to kill everyone from the Luo and Zhu families, but his subordinates were using this as leverage against him, which left him helpless.
When Zhu Ying Hua returned home, she found the black bag mentioned by Zhu Ying Tai on her father's desk. It seemed like she needed to investigate this matter further. Zhu Li Ye was worried about Romeo and wanted to know his whereabouts. Zhu Ying Hua went to see Zhu Li Hua to confirm if the ping pong ball was indeed the one Wan Shi Tong gave to Hao Zi. She received a positive response from Zhu Li Hua.
Second Uncle's accomplice was almost killed by him, but fortunately, Zhu Ying Tai and Wan Shi Tong intervened just in time, saving his life. Later, Zhu Ying Hua intentionally arranged a meeting with Second Uncle and accused him of killing his own grandson. Second Uncle shot and killed him in response and admitted to killing Hao Zi. Even now, Second Uncle continues to defend himself, but the evidence is against him. He even mentioned that if Zhu Ying Hua hadn't run away from home all those years ago, she might have become the head of the family and he could have taken the position.
Second Uncle also claimed that if he hadn't been ruthless towards Hao Zi, Zhu Ying Hua wouldn't have returned. Upon discovering that her father was responsible for everything, Zhu Ying Hua was furious and directly shot him dead. She returned the Zhu family to Zhu Ying Tai and avenged her son. Afterwards, she returned to her rightful place in District 8.
Currently, Zhu Ying Tai has regained control of the Zhu family. He mentioned that once everything is settled, he will arrange for Romeo and Zhu Li Ye to get married. Initially, there were objections, but Zhu Ying Tai decided to let everyone think it over. However, upon learning about this, Zhu Li Ye still felt that her marriage had nothing to do with them. Nonetheless, Romeo comforted Zhu Li Ye, saying that they would be able to marry openly and honestly.
Romeo intends to return to Haibei City first, and Wan Shi Tong plans to accompany him. Zhu Li Ye will stay here and take care of her pregnancy. Zhu Li Ye handed her gun to Romeo and asked him to protect himself. When Wan Shi Tong woke up, he saw Zhu Ying Tai standing by the window. They had just reunited, but now they would have to separate again. Zhu Ying Tai was still very worried about Wan Shi Tong.
Wan Shi Tong was comforting Zhu Ying Tai by her side, and their relationship was still very strong. Wan Shi Tong left many riddles in the house for Zhu Ying Tai, wanting her to feel his presence with her at all times. Wan Shi Tong and Romeo entered the study, but to their surprise, Xiaoma was holding a gun and holding Romilin hostage. Romilin's hands were already covered in blood, and Xiaoma made it clear that she would not spare anyone from the Luo family.
