Episode 24 recap: The Emperor granted permission for Liu Chang Ge and Bai Zai Zai to retire to the mountains and forests.
Shen Yi and her allies were completely eradicated. The Emperor issued a decree, ensuring that the villains received the punishment they deserved. Liu Chang Jie was also stripped of his throne. The Emperor commanded the princes to learn from this lesson and not let such incidents happen again, or else they would face merciless execution. However, Liu Chang Ge stated that since the day he handed over the military command, he hadn't considered inheriting the throne. Seeing that Liu Chang Ge had made up his mind, the Emperor reluctantly agreed. Liu Chang Ge met with Bai Zai Zai and told her that from now on, she would be the only queen by his side. Bai Zai Zai happily replied that from now on, he could only accompany her to eat radishes.
The two shared a smile and embraced each other happily.
