Episode 5 recap: The National Teacher attacked Liu Chang Ge.
Liu Chang Ge brought Bai Zai Zai to meet a woman who appeared cautious upon seeing Bai Zai Zai. Liu Chang Ge told her that Bai Zai Zai was not a stranger and encouraged her to speak freely. It turned out that the woman was Xiao Xiao, the consort of the Crown Prince Liu Chang He.Xiao Xiao looked at Bai Zai Zai and reminded Liu Chang He not to repeat past mistakes. Liu Chang Ge assured her that he understood and that Bai Zai Zai was not the same person as before. As Liu Chang Ge landed a hit on the opponent, he also sustained an injury. Both sides decided not to prolong the battle. Liu Chang Ge carried Bai Zai Zai and they instantly disappeared.
The masked person struggled to remove their mask, revealing themselves to be Shen Yi, the National Teacher. Bai Yu Yu mocked him, saying that he shouldn't act strong if he didn't have the ability. Shen Yi also rebuked Bai Yu Yu, criticizing her for using her charms to serve others and questioning her audacity to speak ill of others in front of him.
