Episode 6 recap: Liu Chang Ge tends to Bai Zai Zai's injuries.
Liu Chang Ge carries Bai Zai Zai into an empty house and begins treating her wounds. Seeing Bai Zai Zai's breathing stabilize, Liu Chang Ge lays her on the bed to rest and proceeds to remove his own clothes to dress his own wounds. Bai Zai Zai slowly wakes up and immediately notices Liu Chang Ge undressing and tending to his injuries. She hastily sits up and checks herself, realizing that she is also dressed in revealing clothing. Feeling embarrassed and furious, she tightly hugs herself and angrily berates Liu Chang Ge, calling him a scumbag. Liu Chang Ge explains to her that he closed his eyes while helping her dress her wounds.
Bai Zai Zai becomes even angrier, while Liu Chang Ge defensively tells her that he wouldn't do such menial tasks if it weren't for her risking her life to save him. He urges Bai Zai Zai to quickly dress her wounds and leave the place before the family members return and see them. However, Bai Zai Zai sadly informs him that the family members will never return. When Liu Chang Ge asks how she knows, Bai Zai Zai reveals that this is her home, where her master was killed and her junior sister betrayed her. She is the only one left in the family. Liu Chang Ge, upon hearing this, also feels a deep sense of sadness and melancholy. Bai Zai Zai inquires about Liu Chang Ge's family matters, and he tells her that when he was young, his mother died tragically. The only ones who accompanied him since childhood were Wang Zongguan and Chen Xiao Xiao, the daughter of the Prime Minister. However, after his father staged a coup and became the emperor, Chen Xiao Xiao was given to his elder brother as a consort, causing them to grow apart.
Gong Sun Qing, having just finished dressing up, stands up and suddenly sees a woman standing across from her who looks exactly like her. She is drained of her essence by the other woman and collapses unconscious. The woman who looks identical to her is the fox immortal, Su Fei Xian. When Gong Sun Qing wakes up, she finds herself tied up and locked in a prison cell. She shouts for help, but the nearby jailer ignores her pleas.
