Episode 14 recap: Liu Feifan's death.
Hu Xiaodie held a press conference, but Hua Xiaoqing didn't show up, which worried her. Manager Wu expressed that today's focus should be on the movie details, and the Wang Lili case could be discussed later. The reporters had nothing to ask if Hu Xiaodie made such a statement, immediately claiming that Liu Feifan was the culprit in the Wang Lili case. Everyone was surprised, and before they could ask anything, it was already revealed that Liu Feifan had died in a car accident.
Chief Duan said she seemed to carry a curse, suspecting that whoever she suspected would die. Hua Sheng offered to help Hu Xiaodie investigate the truth at Liu's house, but she considered it too dangerous. Hua Sheng argued that at least he would be better than her at finding out the truth. When Liu Feifan died, someone saw a woman running out of the car during the accident. Chief Duan immediately insisted on thoroughly searching the car. As expected, they found something inside the car. When he handed the pen over to Bai Langning, his expression seemed relieved, as if he had found the culprit.
