Episode 2 recap: Hu Xiaodie was wrongly accused of being a murderer.
There were many reporters outside the apartment building, and when the police comrades from the patrol station came to investigate the case, Hu Xiaodie learned about the death of Wang Lili. The officer asked Miss Hua if she had met before, and Hu Xiaodie wondered why they were asking again since they had just met in the morning. The officer asked her where she was in the morning, and Hu Xiaodie said she didn't know as she had drunk too much. The officer took out a newspaper, and Hu Xiaodie looked at the photo on it, saying how could they take such an ugly picture of her.
The officer questioned why her hairpin was found at the crime scene, and Hu Xiaodie explained that Liu Feifan was her ex-boyfriend now, and she had lost the hairpin on the day of their engagement.
