New clues have emerged in the case of Wang Lili.Hu Xiaodie, in order to grasp the murderer's modus operandi, tied up Huasheng and asked her to shout for help. Despite shouting for a while, Hu Xiaodie still couldn't remember anything. Officer Bai heard the cries for help and barged in.
He claimed he only wanted to save someone and didn't expect Hu Xiaodie to play such tricks. Officer Bai suggested taking a few photos if she didn't mind changing clothes. Huasheng pointed out that changing clothes wouldn't prove that person was Hu Xiaodie, but Officer Bai insisted that they needed the photos to prove the person wasn't Hu Xiaodie. Reluctantly, Huasheng agreed to have the photos taken but emphasized that they should not be leaked. After Hu Xiaodie changed her clothes, she came out for the photos. Officer Bai commented that a foolish beauty couldn't possibly have the skills to commit a crime. Hu Xiaodie claimed she didn't remember anything about that day and then asked Huasheng whether someone who didn't know if they had committed murder should consider themselves guilty or not guilty. After some contemplation, Hu Xiaodie gave her clothes to Huasheng, indicating that she was going on the run because in movies, people like her are always the culprits. Huasheng brought her some food, and although Hu Xiaodie initially had no appetite, she became happy when she heard about roasted sweet potatoes and took a piece. Hu Xiaodie expressed her gratitude for everything Huasheng had done for her and gave her a pen she had prepared as a birthday gift. Huasheng advised her not to scare herself and suggested they go to Wang Lili's house at night to look for clues. The officer suddenly remembered the case of Zhou Shihao's daughter's kidnapping and rushed back when he saw the files, confirming his suspicions.
