Episode 5 recap: Being threatened with her life by poisoning.
Ye Qing encouraged Lai Luo to go and have some fun, and Lai Luo followed Ye Qing, which made Lin Wanqing feel particularly lonely because she was alone. Feeling lonely and thinking of her master's sadness when alone, Lin Wanqing was suddenly approached by someone who wanted to invite her to travel together. Not knowing how to refuse, Lin Wanqing was relieved when Su Moyi arrived in disguise to help her out and accompany her on the trip.
Walking together on the road, Su Moyi and Lin Wanqing accidentally bumped into each other, causing Lin Wanqing to feel embarrassed. She had to make an excuse to go and buy ice powder. While Lin Wanqing was queuing to buy ice powder, she was kidnapped by an assassin who dragged her into an alley and forced her to drink poison. The assassin told Lin Wanqing that if she poisoned Su Moyi, she would receive the antidote, but Lin Wanqing hesitated.
Grateful to Su Moyi for saving her, Lin Wanqing couldn't repay kindness with enmity and couldn't bring herself to poison someone. She decided to go and buy the ice powder. Although she bought the ice powder, she hesitated and missed the opportunity.
