Episode 6 recap: Lin Wanqing peeked at Su Moyi while he was bathing.
The kitchen maid noticed that Lin Wanqing didn't go to deliver the meal and couldn't help but ask about her situation, wondering if she had a quarrel with Su Moyi. The kitchen maid wanted to help Lin Wanqing, so she prepared a meal that showed her affection and asked Lin Wanqing to deliver it, reminding her that some matters couldn't be postponed. Upon hearing the kitchen maid's words, Lin Wanqing felt that she should confront Su Moyi, so she brought the meal to him.
Su Moyi had been waiting for Lin Wanqing for a long time and when he saw her coming with the food, he urged her to eat, showing his concern for her. Su Moyi opened the lunchbox and was surprised to see the heartfelt meal, while Lin Wanqing was equally surprised and immediately clarified that she didn't prepare the food and had no knowledge of it.
Once Lin Wanqing returned to the kitchen, the kitchen maid asked about her situation. Lin Wanqing realized from the maid's words that if she delivered any food, regardless of whether she had poisoned it or not, she would be mistaken as the culprit. Therefore, she decided to explain everything to Su Moyi. Lin Wanqing barged into Su Moyi's room, intending to have a clear conversation, but to her surprise, she walked in just as Su Moyi was preparing to bathe, leaving her unable to leave.
Hiding behind a folding screen, Lin Wanqing peeked and saw Su Moyi's well-defined abs, instantly falling victim to infatuation and drooling while staring at him, almost forgetting the reason she came for. Lin Wanqing planned to wait for Su Moyi to finish bathing and then find an opportunity to talk, but Su Moyi took an unusually long time to bathe, and she unintentionally fell asleep until she woke up with an urgent need to use the restroom.
Not wanting to be trapped by her bladder, Lin Wanqing decided to escape boldly, but to her dismay, Su Moyi discovered her. Lin Wanqing didn't know how to explain herself, so she ended up engaging in a flirtatious interaction with Su Moyi. However, to her surprise, Su Moyi was not reserved either and attempted to kiss Lin Wanqing, leaving her frightened and pushing him away before fleeing. Lin Wanqing found solace in the courtyard, crying alone, and when Su Moyi saw her, he couldn't understand her behavior and grew worried about her well-being.
