Episode 14 recap: Xiao Ma Que feels depressed and gets drunk.

Xu Lai forcefully insists that Xiao Ma Que move in with him. He warns Xiao Ma Que about the difficulties of protecting her home from thieves. Xiao Ma Que firmly disagrees, and Jin Mu Lai also stops Xu Lai from taking Xiao Ma Que's belongings. The two argue, but Xiao Ma Que shouts at them, silencing them, and walks away.

Xiao Ma Que is at work when Xu Lai approaches her with a charming smile, bringing her a cup of latte. Once again, he persuades Xiao Ma Que to be in a relationship with him, using sweet and gentle words. Xiao Ma Que earnestly explains that he is a rising star in the investment industry with great potential, and they are not of the same class. She believes that he doesn't truly love her, but rather can't let go of his own obsession.

Chen Feifei watches helplessly as Xiao Ma Que rejects Xu Lai once again and can't resist lecturing Xiao Ma Que. She suggests that Xiao Ma Que should unconditionally choose Xu Lai, a high-quality wealthy man. Jin Mu Lai overhears Chen Feifei's words at the door and quietly leaves. Agent 008 feels uncomfortable after drinking it but realizes it's not as bad as he initially thought. Jin Mu Lai excitedly tells him that there's something even better called alcohol and promises to treat him to it in the future. However, Agent 008 tells him that there is no future and he must leave as soon as possible. But Jin Mu Lai mentions that his grandfather instructed him to find Xiao Ma Que, indicating that she holds the secret to saving the planet Kalam. However, he hasn't found it yet.

Feeling upset, Xiao Ma Que drinks a lot of alcohol outside. Her eyes are unfocused as she stumbles her way home and unexpectedly encounters a drunken man who throws away his bottle and lunges towards her.
