Episode 4 recap: Xiao Ma Que figures out Jin Mu Lai's identity.
Xiao Ma Que is very curious about Jin Mu Lai's identity and is determined to find out who designed him. In order to help Jin Mu Lai adapt better to life on Earth, Xiao Ma Que orders him to learn how to be a human within three days and provides him with a stack of astronomy and geography books to study.
Meanwhile, Xiao Ma Que uses the company's neural interface program to research the inner structure and programming of Jin Mu Lai. Jin Mu Lai quickly finishes studying the stack of books and demonstrates an astonishing memory. He finds Xiao Ma Que and recites poetry and the Analects of Confucius to her non-stop. Xiao Ma Que gets a headache from listening and quickly stops him, but praises his strong learning ability.
Jin Mu Lai suddenly realizes that he has been here before, and Xiao Ma Que notices that he is carrying her towel. Jin Mu Lai says that the towel saved him last time. Jin Mu Lai wants to take a bath and assures Xiao Ma Que that there won't be any danger this time because the circuit has been modified to prevent electrical leakage in contact with water.
During her research, Xiao Ma Que discovers that Jin Mu Lai was actually created by her programming teacher, Professor Xi Fei. While Jin Mu Lai is showering, he recalls his journey from the planet Kalam and how his grandfather protected him and brought him to Earth during a critical moment. His grandfather told him that he could only save Kalam by finding Xiao Ma Que.
