Episode 14 recap: Zhao Tan Tan pretended to be drunk, and Cui Chen revealed his feelings.
Qi Qiao Ge has rules, and if someone dares to enter without presenting an invitation, they won't be spared. Zhao Tan Tan argued logically, but the gatekeeper still refused to let her in. At a critical moment, Cui Chen walked out and claimed that he and Zhao Tan Tan were together. The gatekeeper assumed that Zhao Tan Tan was also invited by the Seven Nights Inn, so he allowed her to enter.
The owner of Qi Qiao Ge is a snail spirit who speaks so slowly that it's frustrating. Zhao Tan Tan secretly used her spiritual power to speed up his speech. They learned that they needed to pass through the levels to obtain the lotus seeds and quickly proceeded with Cui Chen. The first level required them to choose a door within an incense stick's time to reach a safe place. However, there was only a tiny bit of incense left. Cui Chen and Zhao Tan Tan each pushed open a door. Cui Chen opened the door of life, and as hidden weapons were launched, he quickly protected Zhao Tan Tan and helped her through the door of life.
In the second level, they had to navigate through a room filled with poisonous gas by choosing to go up or down. Cui Chen and Zhao Tan Tan chose to climb the ropes. The snail spirit controlled the mechanisms and intended to kill them, but Qiu Yue Bai arrived in haste and stopped the snail spirit from harming Zhao Tan Tan. As a result, Zhao Tan Tan's rope was cut, and she was ejected from Qi Qiao Ge.
Zhao Tan Tan struggled to get up and realized that Cui Chen was still in danger. She wanted to go back and save him, but Qiu Yue Bai firmly held her back. Eventually, Zhao Tan Tan fainted in Qiu Yue Bai's arms. When she woke up and saw Cui Chen safe and sound in front of her, she tightly embraced him.

They took turns to get Qiu Yue Bai drunk, and Zhao Tan Tan pretended to be drunk, allowing Cui Chen to carry her back. On the way, Zhao Tan Tan insisted on going to the riverbank to gaze at the moon. Cui Chen indulgently agreed, and the two of them, a handsome man and a beautiful woman, received praises from passersby. Zhao Tan Tan was delighted, but Cui Chen did not express his feelings.
Cui Chen carried Zhao Tan Tan to the riverbank, thinking that she was already drunk.
