Episode 11 recap: He Lian Xin proposes to assist the Crown Prince.
He Lian Xin says that the ceremonial gift from Mr. Yuan is quite good, but there is one thing he got wrong. He doesn't want to be an idle gentleman. He hopes to assist the Crown Prince in achieving greatness. The Crown Prince arrives as well. Luo Qing Lian says that although they are currently under the same roof, they are no longer the same people. From now on, Lv Bei Yi is the young master Lv, and she is Miss Lian.
Madam Mo is shocked to learn about her father's passing and becomes distraught, endangering her pregnancy. Lady Ye barely hangs on and comes to find the legitimate wife, saying that Yao's child has already died, and she wants to snatch Lv Bei Yi's child. A maid comes to report that Yao has given birth prematurely. The legitimate wife rushes to Yao's location but is intercepted by Ru Hua's people.
Ru Hua says that Yao is now in charge of the manor's affairs, not the legitimate wife. He Yuan Xue manages to escape and coincidentally encounters the Crown Prince. Mr. Yuan learns that someone wants to kill He Yuan Xue and asks if He Yuan Xue knows who it might be, but He Yuan Xue has no idea.
Mr. Yuan asks if anyone else has seen He Yuan Xue coming here, and He Yuan Xue says no. The Crown Prince says that he will send He Yuan Xue back later, but then He Yuan Xue faints after drinking a cup of tea.
He Lian Xin escorts the silver back but encounters a group of commoners on the way. These people say that Mr. Li was a good official, but he was forced to death by He Lian Xin. Are these silver coins more important than human lives? Someone hidden in the shadows shoots an arrow and kills one of the commoners. The commoners shout that the officials are killing people and begin fighting with He Lian Xin and the others.
He Lian Xin is surrounded and attacked by these people, and He Yuan Xue is brought over. Someone wants to kill He Yuan Xue and reminds her not to forget that she was killed by He Lian Xin. Lv Bei Yi rushes over and saves He Yuan Xue, resolving the situation.
Lv Bei Yi says that thanks to He Yuan Xue previously calling him a coward, he has come to his senses. Instead of living aimlessly, he would rather reclaim everything he has lost. Luo Qing Lian learns that something has happened with He Lian Xin and wants to hurry over.
The legitimate wife stops Luo Qing Lian and tells her that there is a problem with Yao, asking her to go and help. If Yao gives birth to a child, the entire young master's residence will belong to Yao. Luo Qing Lian says that she has something urgent to attend to and must go immediately, so she can't go with the legitimate wife.
The legitimate wife kneels down and begs Luo Qing Lian, but Luo Qing Lian still leaves. The gentle maidservants see this and can't understand it. They wonder if Luo Qing Lian is still the same person they knew. Lv Bei Yi says that he came to seek refuge with He Lian Xin to help him achieve greatness and to rid himself of his lowly status.
Lv Bei Yi says that these people are not ordinary folks; ordinary folks wouldn't use such weapons. Luo Qing Lian also arrives, bringing many things that the Crown Prince intercepted to give to Lord Wang. Mr. Yuan arrives and tells He Lian Xin to wait. He Lian Xin says that the ceremonial gift from Mr. Yuan is quite good, but there is one thing he got wrong. If He Lian Xin doesn't want such things to happen again in the future, then he must have control over Qu Liang.
Luo Qing Lian talks to Lv Bei Yi and knows that Lv Bei Yi has been avoiding her lately. She swears that she will help Lv Bei Yi rid himself of his lowly status.
