Episode 14 recap: Luo Qing Lian is pregnant.
He Lian Xin wrote a letter to Luo Qing Lian, saying that since they couldn't be harmonious together, he wished her a carefree and light-hearted life. Lv Bei Yi showed the letter to Luo Qing Lian and revealed that she was pregnant. Dong Li and the others were delighted, while He Lian Xin was surprised upon hearing the news.
He Lian Xin expressed that no one should harm the person they love, not even Luo Qing Lian herself. He placed great importance on the cloak and no one else was allowed to touch it, yet he had given it to Luo Qing Lian.
The Seventh Young Master stated that he grew up with He Lian Xin and understood that for He Lian Xin, there would be consequences for not doing well and rewards for doing well. Lv Bei Yi felt extremely frustrated and drowned his sorrows in alcohol, while He Lian Xin stayed by his side. Lv Bei Yi expressed his desire not to burden her, as he was still of lowly status.
He Lian Xin had someone summon Luo Qing Lian and asked her to drink with him. Luo Qing Lian couldn't bring herself to do it and ended up drinking with He Lian Xin, even getting drunk. Luo Qing Lian noticed that Qie Ge Yuan was on fire and remembered the cloak He Lian Xin had given her before. She hurriedly went there and snatched the cloak. Nan Ru Zhen was secretly watching from the side. Li Tang, who was with Luo Qing Lian, noticed a maid hastily leaving during the fire.
