Episode 12 recap: Qin Yun Sheng and Yang Zheng Wen have a conflict.
Su Ying is working at her studio when Qin Yun Sheng brings her dinner. Unfortunately, Yang Zheng Wen had just left. To prevent Qin Yun Sheng from suspecting anything, Su Ying deliberately informs him about Yang Zheng Wen coming to discuss work. Qin Yun Sheng hears this but keeps his thoughts to himself. However, when he leaves, he sees Su Ying's colleagues in the studio enjoying the late-night snacks brought by Yang Zheng Wen and praising him.
After Tian Mei resigned from Yang Zheng Wen's company, she went to find Su Ying. Through their collaboration on television, Tian Mei greatly admires Su Ying's work. So Su Ying hopes to work at Tian Mei's studio. Su Ying learns that Tian Mei has already resigned from Su Ziyang's studio and decides to give Tian Mei a chance. She hands over a case to Tian Mei to test her abilities.
One night, Qin Yun Sheng cooks wontons at the hospital, and a close friend sees him. The friend assumes Qin Yun Sheng is cooking the wontons for himself and joins in. After some pleasantries, Qin Yun Sheng finishes cooking the wontons and leaves. It turns out he was preparing the wontons for Su Ying.
Meanwhile, Su Ying is working at her studio when Yang Zheng Wen visits to see her for industry-related matters. Recently, Su Ying has taken on several major projects, all of which are related to Yang Zheng Wen's influence. This is Yang Zheng Wen's way of expressing gratitude behind the scenes.
As Yang Zheng Wen is about to leave, he suddenly sees Qin Yun Sheng also arriving at Su Ying's studio, and he feels jealous. Su Ying is delighted to see Qin Yun Sheng's wontons and enjoys eating them. She openly admits her relationship with Qin Yun Sheng.
The conversation between Yang Zheng Wen and Su Ying was merely about cooperation in the construction materials sector. Although Qin Yun Sheng didn't show any concern, he was still bothered by it. When Qin Yun Sheng comes out of Su Ying's office to get water, he overhears Su Ying's subordinates discussing Yang Zheng Wen, which makes him feel a bit upset.
After Qin Yun Sheng comes out, he doesn't leave and falls asleep in his car. When Su Ying finishes her work and is about to go home, she notices Qin Yun Sheng sleeping in his car and wakes him up. Cao Xiao Ye is working, and Cai Chen buys her favorite spicy hot pot. Cao Xiao Ye gets excited upon seeing it and thinks it would be perfect if she had a bottle of her favorite drink. At that moment, Cai Chen presents the drink to her.
Once Su Ying finishes her work, she plans to find Qin Yun Sheng. But at that moment, Yang Zheng Wen sends a message saying he needs the project revised urgently due to a business trip. Su Ying has no choice but to work overtime. It turns out that Yang Zheng Wen deliberately made Su Ying work late to prevent her from meeting Qin Yun Sheng frequently, while he can conveniently spend time with Su Ying under the pretext of work.
In their spare time, Xu Ming Shi and Hui Xuan constantly exchanged messages. Meanwhile, Su Ying was busy with work. After receiving a message from Qin Yun Sheng, Su Ying deliberately made time to go to the hospital to find him. After the discussion with Yang Zheng Wen, Su Ying left with Qin Yun Sheng in his car. Qin Yun Sheng was silent and seemed bothered, which concerned Su Ying, who tried to comfort him. While waiting at a red light, Qin Yun Sheng kissed Su Ying, and they fell into a romantic and sweet atmosphere.
After returning to the hospital, Qin Yun Sheng saw Yang Zheng Wen's charity donation certificate, which he hadn't sent out yet. So, Qin Yun Sheng found an excuse to meet Yang Zheng Wen in order to warn him to keep his distance from Su Ying. Yang Zheng Wen was persistent and actively sought Su Ying's help and even offered to assist with work. Coincidentally, Qin Yun Sheng also came to see Su Ying, and the two crossed paths once again. However, Su Ying chose to leave with Qin Yun Sheng, which further infuriated Yang Zheng Wen.
Tian Mei quickly completed the project proposal and handed it over to Su Ying, who was very satisfied after reviewing it. She decided to invite Tian Mei to join her team. Just as Su Ying was introducing Tian Mei's arrival to everyone, Yang Zheng Wen also came to find Su Ying and even invited the members of her studio to dinner. The studio's subordinates were delighted to hear this. At that moment, Qin Yun Sheng sensed the tension between them, and they ended up arguing. The studio's subordinates were too afraid to intervene and only Su Ying, Qin Yun Sheng, and Yang Zheng Wen went to have dinner together. The atmosphere was quite awkward.
