Episode 25 recap: Su Ying proposed breaking up with Yun Sheng.
Qin Yun Sheng called Xu Ming Shi to inquire about the script and learned that Su Ying currently lacked inspiration. He silently sent something to create inspiration for Su Ying. Su Ying also learned about her mother being hospitalized and became angry upon discovering that Qin Yun Sheng had kept it a secret. Combined with her recent exhaustion, she decided to break up.
In the evening, Su Ying thought about Qin Yun Sheng's strange behavior lately and the upcoming pitch meeting the next day. She stayed late at the office, and when Qin Yun Sheng came to find her, he saw the scene but didn't enter. He called Xu Ming Shi to understand the situation and then requested them to come to the studio to accompany Su Ying. They all arrived together, greatly touching Su Ying.
The next day, when Su Ying and the others saw Tian Mei, who was participating in the pitch, they were shocked. Tian Mei gave her report, and when Su Ying and the others saw the similar proposals, they were even more astonished. After Tian Mei finished her report, Xu Ming Shi couldn't control himself and stood up to question her about copying their proposal. Tian Mei denied it, and Mi Bai interrupted their dispute and asked if Su Ying and the others wanted to elaborate. Su Ying said yes and stood up. She first pointed out the flaws in Tian Mei's proposal and then presented her own. Everyone greatly appreciated Su Ying's proposal. At this point, Mi Bai suggested that there were still many similarities between the two proposals, implying that Su Ying might have copied Tian Mei. He proposed a second round of comparison, to which Tian Mei immediately agreed, and Su Ying had no choice but to accept.
Afterward, Su Ying questioned Tian Mei, but Tian Mei confidently declared war against Su Ying. Su Ying started experiencing stomach pain, and Xu Ming Shi took her to see a doctor. Su Ying asked Xu Ming Shi to go back and take care of the studio while she stayed behind to receive intravenous therapy. She called Qin Yun Sheng, but he was playing badminton with Director Zhao in order to secure an opportunity for Su Ying's mother's surgery and missed the call. Mi Bai came to see Qin Yun Sheng and noticed his phone's screen, so he directly answered the call. Su Ying heard Mi Bai's voice and asked to speak to Qin Yun Sheng. Mi Bai made a couple of sarcastic remarks and then hung up, leaving Su Ying angry and disappointed.
After the game ended, Mi Bai spoke up for Qin Yun Sheng, and Director Zhao finally agreed to consider the surgery. Qin Yun Sheng was very happy. Qin Yun Sheng asked Mi Bai about what happened during the pitch today, and Mi Bai gave him a polished version of the events. Qin Yun Sheng believed that the pitch went smoothly.
Qin Yun Sheng saw the missed call on his phone and called Su Ying back, but before they could say much, Mi Bai pretended to twist his ankle. Qin Yun Sheng hung up the call and Director Zhao asked him to take Mi Bai back to the hospital.
Su Ying looked at the disconnected phone call and remembered the grievances she had suffered in the past few days. She cried sadly. Yang Zheng Wen invited Su Ying's mother to dinner in an attempt to get closer to her. Su Ying's mother politely refused and suddenly felt unwell. She said goodbye to Yang Zheng Wen but fainted before she could stand up. Yang Zheng Wen anxiously called an ambulance.
When Su Ying was discharged from the hospital, Mi Bai deliberately acted intimately with Qin Yun Sheng, trying to attract Su Ying's attention. As expected, Su Ying misunderstood the situation and immediately called Qin Yun Sheng. However, Qin Yun Sheng continued to lie, and Su Ying exposed him. Qin Yun Sheng looked around and saw Su Ying not far away, so he immediately caught up with her to explain. However, Su Ying drove away without listening to his explanations.
In the car, Su Ying received a call from Yang Zheng Wen, informing her that her mother had fainted. Su Ying quickly turned the car around. Qin Yun Sheng also received a call from Zhang Yi Sen, who informed him about the situation. At the entrance of the emergency room, Su Ying learned about her mother's condition and discovered that Qin Yun Sheng had known about it all along. She was very angry. Qin Yun Sheng caught up with Su Ying and tried to explain, but he didn't know what to say. Su Ying accused him of being absent when she was sad and in distress, spending time with Mi Bai instead. Su Ying was extremely disappointed and decided to break up with him before leaving in sadness.
Yang Zheng Wen witnessed this scene from a distance. He took advantage of the opportunity and comforted the crying Su Ying, promising to find a way for Director Zhao, the specialist, to perform surgery on Su Ying's mother. Su Ying cried in front of her unconscious mother. Qin Yun Sheng was with Director Zhao outside the room. After Qin Yun Sheng's repeated requests, Director Zhao agreed to the surgery.
After Director Zhao left, Qin Yun Sheng entered the hospital room and covered Su Ying, who was lying on the bed, with a blanket. He then sat on a chair outside the door. When Su Ying woke up, she felt the blanket on her and took a hot water bottle to get hot water. As she passed by Qin Yun Sheng's room and saw him sleeping, she hesitated about whether to go in or not.
