Episode 4 recap: Qin Yun Sheng teamed up with his best friend, Qin Su Ying.
Qin Yun Sheng handed over the medical examination card to Qin Su Ying's subordinate, and when Qin Su Ying arrived at the hospital for the check-up, the nurses warmly received her upon realizing that she was a friend of Qin Yun Sheng. This surprised Qin Su Ying, but she decided not to undergo an endoscopy. When Qin Yun Sheng found out, he kept urging Qin Su Ying to get the endoscopy done, but she refused. Why was Qin Su Ying so reluctant to have the procedure? Qin Yun Sheng couldn't figure it out, so he reminded Qin Su Ying every day to come to the hospital for the examination.
At that moment, the TV production team called Qin Yun Sheng and asked for an interview together with Qin Su Ying. Qin Yun Sheng gladly accepted, but Qin Su Ying was afraid to meet Qin Yun Sheng and wanted to record separately. Initially, Qin Su Ying's best friend agreed to separate recordings, but on the day of the interview, they ended up sitting together.
During the interview, Qin Yun Sheng intentionally claimed that Qin Su Ying lacked courage and was even afraid to have an endoscopy. Qin Su Ying's best friend stood up to defend her, pretending to be indignant on her behalf. In reality, they planned this to provoke Qin Su Ying and push her to go to the hospital for the examination. Eventually, Qin Su Ying decided to have the endoscopy. It turned out that Qin Yun Sheng and Qin Su Ying's best friend had already discussed the plan to make Qin Su Ying undergo the examination.
Director Ruan from Xinmai came to find Qin Yun Sheng, hoping that he would work at Xinmai. However, Qin Yun Sheng insisted on staying in the Emergency Department and refused. Taking advantage of Director Ruan's distraction, Qin Yun Sheng quickly left to check on Qin Su Ying's examination. By that time, Qin Su Ying's results were already available, and she left with the report. Alone on the staircase, Qin Su Ying was overwhelmed with anxiety and even burst into tears. She searched online for information about her examination results. Qin Yun Sheng arrived by her side and checked the results, then took Qin Su Ying to a specialist. It turned out that Qin Su Ying had picked up the wrong report, which was a normal procedure. It takes 2 to 3 working days to obtain the results, so it was impossible to get them immediately. This caused Qin Su Ying a great deal of anxiety, and she was on the verge of an emotional breakdown.
Seeing that her illness was not as serious as she had feared, Qin Su Ying's mood improved. She and Qin Yun Sheng buried the glass house together and discussed an incident from six years ago involving Qin Yun Sheng's ex-girlfriend. Qin Yun Sheng was deeply hurt, and at that time, he felt powerless as he watched his girlfriend leave him.
Inside the glass house, Qin Su Ying noticed a mobile phone belonging to Qin Yun Sheng. The notes on it were filled with his aspirations for the glass house, particularly the last page, which depicted a rainbow. This further strengthened Qin Su Ying's determination to create a rainbow inside Qin Yun Sheng's glass house.
The general manager of the television station, Mr. Liu, noticed that Qin Su Ying never came to the station for meetings and communication. He thought Qin Su Ying was acting high-handed and believed that without communication, mistakes were more likely to occur. However, Qin Su Ying's good friend made a solemn promise, guaranteeing that Qin Su Ying would not cause any trouble for the television station and that the program would be completed smoothly.
However, Mr. Liu still had some concerns. He sought the help of his designer friend, who happened to be the same male designer that Qin Yun Sheng had hired initially. Mr. Liu invited his friend to the program to ensure that there would be no mistakes due to Qin Su Ying's actions.
Qin Su Ying went to the hospital to find Qin Yun Sheng and even brought a tool specifically designed to practice hand speed and stability. It was a tool that every doctor loved. However, when Qin Yun Sheng saw it, he realized it was a toy for six-year-old children, which put him in an awkward situation.
On the other hand, Qin Su Ying's friend was under a lot of pressure from supporting Qin Su Ying. When they learned that Qin Su Ying was still unsatisfied with the produced plan and wanted to redo it, they became a bit anxious. However, Qin Su Ying's friend was afraid of putting pressure on Qin Su Ying, so they could only instruct Qin Su Ying's subordinate to ask in a gentle manner.
A heavy rainstorm suddenly occurred that evening, and Qin Su Ying received a call about a leak in the warehouse. The materials inside the warehouse were at risk of being soaked by water. Qin Su Ying searched everywhere for help in finding a new warehouse, but unfortunately, everyone was unavailable. In the end, Qin Su Ying had no choice but to ask for help from Qin Yun Sheng. Qin Yun Sheng suggested that they could temporarily store everything in the glass house.
