Episode 2 recap: Qi Miao interviewed Zhou Ye, and the two had another encounter.
This time, Qi Miao specifically interviewed Zhou Ye, only to discover that he was the same man who she had saved before. Just as Qi Miao greeted Zhou Ye, he received a phone call and immediately had to rush back to the company, leaving Qi Miao stood up in public. Fang Luoluo deliberately made a cup of coffee for Qi Miao, hoping to befriend her. In the evening, while playing a game, Qi Miao received a phone call from Mr. Wang. Knowing that it couldn't be anything good, she hung up directly. Shortly after, she received a message asking her to revise the draft, but Qi Miao stated that it was already after work hours and didn't reply.
The next day, Zhou Ye came again for the interview, but Qi Miao's attitude had completely changed. She accused him of leaving without reason midway through their last encounter and stated that it was already courteous of her to agree to the interview. Due to the makeup artist being stuck in traffic, Qi Miao took on the role of the makeup artist. Zhou Ye looked at her up close and felt a bit shy. To express his apology, Zhou Ye specially invited her to have a meal. During the meal, Zhou Ye's phone rang again. Initially, he thought about leaving but then remembered that he stood her up the previous time, so he answered a call from his father, stating that he would make decisions regarding the company on his own. Zhou Ye returned to the table and continued to have dinner together with Qi Miao.
As Qi Miao looked at him sitting there without leaving midway, a hint of joy filled her heart.
