Episode 9 recap: Zhou Ye and Qi Miao's Romantic Trip.
Fang Luoluo and Qi Miao were drinking tea in the courtyard. Fang Luoluo was curious about what might have happened between Qi Miao and Zhou Ye during their trip. Seizing the opportunity to gossip, Fang Luoluo asked Qi Miao to spill the details. Qi Miao felt there was nothing to say, but she did mention that they had spent a night together because they were too exhausted and had to stay in a hotel the next day. Fang Luoluo asked her another question, whether they had found common interests during the trip and if their spending habits matched. Qi Miao felt they were very compatible, but Zhou Ye was the one who made all the travel arrangements because he won the rock-paper-scissors game. After that, they went on a date and had a great time.
However, there was an argument between Qi Miao and Zhou Ye because Qi Miao wanted to visit a temple, but Zhou Ye suddenly changed his mind. They disagreed, and Zhou Ye mentioned that the scenery there was similar to what they had seen earlier in the day. Seeing how much Qi Miao wanted to go, Zhou Ye reluctantly agreed to accompany her. Surprisingly, Qi Miao decided to go alone out of frustration, leaving Zhou Ye sitting by the roadside, gazing into the distance. To his surprise, Qi Miao returned and asked why he was still there. Zhou Ye playfully complained, saying that even when the master of the house loses something, he still has to follow along. So naturally, he was just sitting there waiting.
Qi Miao smiled happily, took Zhou Ye's hand, and he responded by hugging her tightly. Qi Miao felt that when you love someone, you would stay in the same place after a fight and wait for them. She was looking forward to this romantic journey of love.
