Episode 8 recap: Tang Song's infidelity infuriates Su Xiaoxiao.
Su Xiaoxiao uploads the materials to her email but can't muster the courage to send them to Tang Song. She sighs and closes her laptop. Fei Ming Xuan notices Su Xiaoxiao's behavior and feels somewhat delighted. He approaches her and strikes up a conversation, making Su Xiaoxiao sense Fei Ming Xuan's smugness. Unexpectedly, she learns that Fei Ming Xuan intends to cancel his engagement with Fang Min and returns the ring he gave her that night.
Fei Ming Xuan grabs Su Xiaoxiao, who wants to leave, and asks her to accompany him downstairs for a walk. Meanwhile, Tang Song has already set up a proposal scene downstairs. When Su Xiaoxiao sees Tang Song on stage, she feels sweet inside, wondering how he knew she was there. However, Tang Song's heartfelt confession is all directed towards Fang Min, and with everyone's witness, Fang Min accepts Tang Song's proposal.
Su Xiaoxiao is infuriated. She immediately runs to the hotel kitchen in search of a knife. Fei Ming Xuan, worried that Su Xiaoxiao might do something drastic, quickly tries to dissuade her. However, Su Xiaoxiao's anger doesn't dissipate, and she insists on confronting Tang Song. Eventually, she compromises and grabs a rolling pin, storms onto the stage with an intense killing intent, and smashes all the half-filled champagne bottles.
Tang Song is surprised to see Su Xiaoxiao here and quickly tries to appease Fang Min. Fang Min only now realizes that Tang Song is Su Xiaoxiao's boyfriend. While promising to marry Su Xiaoxiao, he also suggests eloping with her, which disgusts Fang Min. Su Xiaoxiao, seeing Tang Song twisting the truth, slaps him in the face, leaving Tang Song ashamed and furious, smashing things as he storms off.
