Tang Xiaolu took out the dagger and stabbed the Prince Wuji in the chest. Feeling the immense pain in her heart, Tang Xiaolu reconsidered her actions and asked the Prince Wuji if he had any other favored person. The Prince Wuji replied that he had only ever favored Tang Xiaolu from the beginning till the end. He then kissed Tang Xiaolu. Soon, it was time for Lin Bo's grandson's hundredth day banquet, and the Prince Wuji and Tang Xiaolu came together to present their gifts.
Many people had found their marriages through the help of the Prince Wuji. Upon seeing him at the banquet, they all approached him to raise a toast. The Prince Wuji drank quite a bit and quickly became intoxicated. On the way back, Tang Xiaolu and the Prince Wuji encountered a group of assassins. Tang Xiaolu fought against them, and one person hiding in the shadows shot an arrow. Suddenly, the Prince Wuji rushed forward and took the hit for Tang Xiaolu.
Tang Xiaolu was furious and killed all the assailants. When only one was left, Tang Xiaolu pressured him to reveal who had sent them, and he confessed it was the King of Chu. Tang Xiaolu sent the injured Prince Wuji back and called for a physician to attend to him. The physician stated that the Prince Wuji's wound was severe, and whether he would survive or not depended on his fate.
Tang Xiaolu expressed her disbelief and insisted that the physician must save the Prince Wuji at all costs.
