Episode 12 recap: Tang Xiaolu gives a gift to the Prince Wuji.
When the Prince Wuji wakes up, Tang Xiaolu is ecstatic. The Prince Wuji remarks that the Tang family's young miss has become quite fierce, and Tang Xiaolu expresses her happiness that he is alive. Tang Xiaolu is unsure whether the Prince Wuji's affections lie with her or with Li Ziyi. Tang Xiaolu notices everyone bustling about and asks Xiaofang what's going on. Xiaofang explains that Qixi Festival is approaching, and in previous years, the Prince Wuji would host a banquet. However, this year, he wants to try something different.
Xiaofang mentions that the day after tomorrow is the Prince Wuji's birthday and reminds Tang Xiaolu not to forget. Tang Xiaolu assures him that she hasn't forgotten. Tang Xiaolu brings the Prince Wuji over, and there are clothes prepared for him, which Tang Xiaolu personally made. Tang Xiaolu helps the Prince Wuji change into the clothes. Tang Xiaolu asks the Prince Wuji to make a wish, and he replies that his wish has already come true: to marry Tang Xiaolu.
The Prince Wuji expresses his genuine affection for Tang Xiaolu and calls her by her name. Tang Xiaolu realizes that the Prince Wuji has always loved her. Tang Xiaolu enters the Prince Wuji's room and opens the hidden compartment she had discovered earlier. Inside, she finds a wrapped weapon. As she touches the object, she can't help but burst into tears.
