Episode 17 recap: Li Ziyi attended the Queen's birthday banquet.
The Queen expressed that she possessed everything and no one could take it away from her. The maids reassured the Queen that after her birthday, there would be no more troubles. Li Ziyi stated that he wanted to settle everything from the past and asked Prince Wuji to believe that he would return. The Crown Prince and Prince Chu went hunting together. The Crown Prince realized that he hadn't thought of a good gift for the Queen's birthday. If he could catch something good and give it to the Queen, she would definitely be happy.
During the hunt, the Crown Prince was attacked, and Prince Wuji came to his rescue. Prince Wuji killed Prince Chu, but upon closer inspection, he realized it was a fake Prince Chu and understood that he had been deceived. The Queen looked at her face, which suddenly aged, and became extremely agitated. She asked the maids to bring medicine, expressing that she possessed everything and no one could take it away.
