Episode 7 recap: Tang Xiaolu believes in Prince Wuji.
Tang Xiaolu came over to the kitchen to get something, but suddenly felt dizzy. Prince Wuji's attendant, Xiao Fang, approached and asked Tang Xiaolu what she was doing there. Tang Xiaolu explained that she came to get good wine, but Xiao Fang pointed out that the one Tang Xiaolu took was cooking wine, and this one is the good wine. Meanwhile, Li Ziyi saw Prince Wuji and started a fight with him, accusing Prince Wuji of assassinating the emperor and causing the death of his superior. He vowed to avenge his superior.
Prince Wuji questioned whether it was really worth going to such lengths for a deceased person. Li Ziyi declared that Prince Wuji was truly heartless and ungrateful, disregarding the genuine feelings of his superior. Just then, Fei arrived and asked Li Ziyi what was going on. Li Ziyi stated that Prince Wuji was the murderer who killed his superior. Tang Xiaolu expressed her belief in Prince Wuji, stating that she trusted he wasn't that kind of person. If Li Ziyi continued in this manner, their friendship would be broken.
Li Ziyi admitted that he had been anxious and mistakenly identified Prince Wuji as the culprit. Tang Xiaolu was in the courtyard when Prince Wuji approached her and asked why she believed in him. Tang Xiaolu explained that she didn't believe what others said, but she believed in Prince Wuji. He was the only one she cared about now. Prince Wuji went to find Lord Li, wanting to see those documents, but nobody responded.
