Episode 30 recap: Zhao Guang Ye spared Meng Yi Lang.
Zhao Guang Ye has already given the antidote to several kings, indicating that he will burn all these puppets and execute Meng Ji. The kings asked Zhao Guang Ye if he could bear to do so, and Zhao Guang Ye stated that none of this is righteous. From now on, there will be no more deception in the world. If he indulges in these things, what happened to Bei Rong Wang today will happen to him tomorrow.
The kings expressed their admiration for Zhao Guang Ye's righteousness and were willing to respect him. These puppets and Meng Ji were burned to death in the square. Meng Ji cursed the kings. A soldier came to report that Zhao Chen Yang died in battle while trying to kill Bei Rong Wang.

He Lan Xin Yue suggests going to bid farewell to Meng Ji. They both go to Meng Ji's location and unexpectedly find Meng Ji. It turns out that Ten An knocked out Meng Ji and took her place to be burned alive.

Tai Chu is upset upon learning that Ten An is dead. Shang Guan Zui takes Bei Rong Wang back to the Bei Rong region and brings some mute medicine to make Bei Rong Wang consume it. He states that he cannot let Bei Rong Wang die so easily, but he also cannot let him live peacefully.
Originally, Zhao Guang Ye intended to pass the throne to Zhao Chen Yang, but now Zhao Chen Yang has died. He Lan Xin Yue and Tai Chu come to find Zhao Guang Ye, who shares his health condition with them. He states that he initially didn't want to tell them, and by the time he passes away, they will have returned to the Snow Peak Mountain to live their own lives.
Zhao Guang Ye expresses deep sorrow when talking about Zhao Chen Yang, believing that the curses spoken by Meng Ji before her death have all come true. Tai Chu and He Lan Xin Yue feel that now is the time when Zhao Guang Ye needs them the most and are unwilling to leave.
He Lan Xin Yue declares that she and Tai Chu will go back to Snow Peak Mountain to find the Snow Falling Divine Physician and bring him to heal Zhao Guang Ye.
