Episode 22 recap: Bao Rou Rou misunderstood Gu Xing He.
After Hai Ren's death, only a scale was left behind. Gu Xing He gave this scale to Bao Rou Rou. Bao Rou Rou discovered that Gu Xing He had Hai Ren's inner core inside him and mistakenly believed that Gu Xing He had harmed Hai Ren in order to achieve immortality. She was very angry and wanted to leave without having any further interaction with Gu Xing He.
Lu Qing Er and the others quickly tried to persuade Bao Rou Rou. Yi Qi Feng expressed that Gu Xing He was not that kind of person and couldn't have done such a thing. Lu Qing Er mentioned that Wang Bu Liu Xing had said his father's injuries were severe, and even if they returned to the South Sea, they wouldn't be able to heal him. Bao Rou Rou felt that they were all in cahoots, deceiving her, and left directly. Hai Ren urged Yi Qi Feng to catch up with her quickly, fearing that Bao Rou Rou might be in danger.
Lu Qing Er came to find Gu Xing He and asked him what had happened. Gu Xing He explained everything to him, and only then did Lu Qing Er realize that it was Hai Ren who had manipulated them before his death. Lu Qing Er asked Gu Xing He to go and explain things to Bao Rou Rou, but Gu Xing He felt it was unnecessary because he couldn't accompany Bao Rou Rou forever anyway.
Lu Qing Er asked if someone had forced Gu Xing He, and then Gu Xing He's father arrived, feeling that he couldn't joke about the safety of the Gu Mansion. Lu Qing Er believed that Gu Xing He's father had made a mistake. Gu Xing He's father looked at the loom left by Gu Xing He's mother and said that when she left him, he would think of all these things whenever he saw Gu Xing He.
