Episode 1 recap: The Ren sisters returned to their hometown to pursue their careers.
Early in the morning, Zhang Pei's parents went to the market to buy ingredients to make cold rabbit meat for Zhang Pei, who was far away in Beijing. However, when Zhang Pei heard about it, she refused outright, saying that she couldn't eat it. At the same time, she opened the refrigerator and found the food her parents had previously sent her. To her dismay, the food was already spoiled. Zhang Pei made a disgusted face and posted a complaint on her social media, even blocking her parents. Unaware of this, her parents continued to prepare the cold rabbit meat. Zhang Pei, in a hurry to go to work, didn't say anything further.
Instead of going straight to the office, Zhang Pei first met with her client, Sister Youyou. Zhang Pei had strong business skills, and the client trusted her a lot. Zhang Pei shared her family matters with Sister Youyou. Zhang Pei's younger sisters, Wu Yun, Gou Dan Dan, and Dong Jia Xi, all sympathized with her and joined in the conversation. They even helped Gou Dan Dan choose a background for her marriage proposal. The four sisters didn't forget to tease each other.
Finally, Zhang Pei arrived at the office. Her assistant had been keeping an eye on the reporting order for the boss. Zhang Pei remained calm and confidently stated that she would be the sixth to enter the boss's office. When the boss saw her, he criticized Zhang Pei for being sixth in performance and in reporting. Zhang Pei handled it with ease. Then the boss informed Zhang Pei that they needed to select a person to be in charge of the Chengdu branch. He mentioned that Zhang Pei was from Chengdu and that it was an advantage. However, Zhang Pei said she was planning to buy a house in Beijing. The boss started to advise Zhang Pei not to become someone who still had a mortgage at sixty, but Zhang Pei didn't look willing.
After Gou Dan Dan finished her live stream, she took off her wig and looked at the engagement ring she had prepared. She was very satisfied. Soon, her husband came to find her, and they were very sweet together. Wu Yun was also getting ready to work in Chengdu. Although her younger brother complained from time to time, he still felt reluctant to part with his sister. They cared for each other, and Wu Yun reminded her brother to take care of their parents, while her brother hoped that Wu Yun would take care of herself.

After signing the contract, Zhang Pei went out to buy a sofa. Her parents had called to remind her to be careful when buying furniture for the new house. However, Zhang Pei told them that she had already signed for a one-bedroom apartment. Her parents scolded her, but deep down, they felt a tinge of disappointment because Zhang Pei had never considered bringing them over.
In the evening, Zhang Pei asked Dong Jia Xi to help her organize some unnecessary items. The two sisters laughed and shed tears together. Dong Jia Xi sensed that Zhang Pei was feeling unhappy and hugged her to comfort her, assuring her that everything would be better. Later, Zhang Pei went to sign a contract with a client who expressed gratitude for the insurance recommendation that Zhang Pei had provided, which proved to be very useful. The two girls who were living away from home understood each other.
Dong Jia Xi happily took away a bunch of things from Zhang Pei's place. When she returned home, her mother came to attend her graduation ceremony and saw Dong Jia Xi's name on a poster for drama literature. That was when her mother realized that Dong Jia Xi had changed her major! Dong Jia Xi had kept this secret from her mother for three years, but she hoped her mother would give her two more years. She then gave her mother a ticket to her graduation play.
Gou Dan Dan filmed a video saying that she was going to propose to her boyfriend. However, when she entered the house, she found her husband wearing pajamas and high heels on the floor. But Gou Dan Dan didn't think much of it. Surprisingly, while she was in the fitting room, she bent down to pick something up and caught a glimpse of a woman hiding inside!
