Episode 2 recap: Shi Yan agrees to the interview.

Zheng Shuyi, drenched, takes a taxi back home, feeling extremely saddened by her boyfriend's betrayal. On the other hand, Zheng Shuyi's boyfriend remains unaware of her discovery and continues to enjoy the company of the other woman. After seeing the red string that Zheng Shuyi wore on her hand on the car's handle, he realizes that she had been there. Worried and anxious, he hastily prepares to go and apologize to her.

At that moment, Zheng Shuyi is alone in her room, anxiously packing her belongings. When she sees a photo of herself and her boyfriend, she becomes furious and without hesitation, cuts out the image of the two of them together. As her boyfriend rushes over to apologize, Zheng Shuyi mentally prepares herself to be firm and send him away without mercy. However, their conversation is abruptly interrupted by a hurried knocking on the door.

To her surprise, just as Zheng Shuyi is about to speak, her boyfriend also decisively brings up the idea of breaking up. It turns out that even before meeting someone else, he had believed that he could change the situation through his own efforts. However, the current circumstances made him realize that there are certain things he cannot obtain. He now intends to achieve the wealth he desires in one fell swoop. Upon hearing his words, Zheng Shuyi demands that Yue Xing Zhou hand over his phone and unhesitatingly kicks him out of the house. Feeling bored and restless, she posts a social media update while enjoying the rainy weather alone.

Upon seeing Zheng Shuyi's post, her good friend rushes over to her house to offer comfort. However, Zheng Shuyi, who is not at all saddened by being cheated on, is instead infuriated that she is considered less valuable than a car. With the guidance of her friend, she regains her confidence and decides to continue pursuing her career.

After staying up all night, Zheng Shuyi deliberately wears sunglasses and goes to work at the company during the day. When Sister Yi learns about her boyfriend cheating on her, she can hardly contain her laughter. Despite the situation, Zheng Shuyi adjusts her work mindset and doesn't let it affect her. She confidently goes out to work diligently and conscientiously.

As Zheng Shuyi was leaving, she unexpectedly ran into her ex-boyfriend, who was interacting with the third party. When she approached them, she noticed that her ex-boyfriend had given the gifts he had originally given her to the other person as a present. Unable to contain her anger, she continued to curse at him after walking away. Coincidentally, Shi Yan, who was sitting in the car, witnessed this comical scene.

Seeing the car in front of her, Zheng Shuyi suddenly remembered what her boyfriend had said about the car. Without hesitation, she decided to approach and inquire about it. After tidying up her appearance, she successfully knocked on the car window, only to discover that Shi Yan was the person sitting inside. She stood there dumbfounded for a moment.

After regaining her composure, Zheng Shuyi composed herself and initiated a conversation with Shi Yan. She even intended to continue with the interview, but was directly refused by him. While Zheng Shuyi was away, Xu Yu Ling took the opportunity to approach Sister Yi and discussed the interview. Sister Yi bluntly advised her to seize the opportunity. Concerned about her friend's situation, Xu Yu Ling quickly messaged the person who was inquiring about Shi Yan's niece. Upon learning that her ex-boyfriend had started working at the company, Zheng Shuyi planned to accelerate her interview progress.

Meanwhile, Shi Yan, after finishing his work at the company, agreed to the interview. In the evening, when no one was around, Xu Yu Ling sneakily opened the office cabinet with ulterior motives. Unaware of this, Zheng Shuyi continued to work diligently. On the other hand, Shi Yan, feeling refreshed after exercising, went to the shower.
