Episode 4 recap: Zheng Shu Yi completes her mission.
Just after Zheng Shu Yi returns, her good friend rushes to her and starts talking about Xu Yu Ling taking the interview on her behalf. However, despite the long conversation, the friend still has an expression that suggests she already knows what happened. At that moment, Zheng Shu Yi suddenly remembers how Shi Yan answered questions from both sides, and she feels a bit frustrated. As soon as she hears Xu Yu Ling's commotion nearby, she immediately recalls her embarrassing moment in front of Shi Yan. Her best friend, upon hearing her words, praises Xu Yu Ling's patient character in front of everyone, thinking it's impressive that Shi Yan was able to handle interviews from both sides. However, Zheng Shu Yi thinks that Shi Yan is a very contradictory person.
When Zheng Shu Yi is waiting alone by the roadside, unexpectedly, her ex-boyfriend drives up to her and subtly brags that his current girlfriend is not in the car. He plans to give her a ride. Instead, they continue to advise Zheng Shu Yi to let it go.
While spending time with his niece, Shi Yan personally cooks a delicious meal for her, intending to send her off after she finishes eating. Upon hearing this, Qin Shi Yue plans to leave immediately but is stopped by her uncle. After staying up late to complete her work, Zheng Shu Yi arrives at work on time the next day. She also learns that there are two new interns in the company. In the office, her friend specifically assigns her a new intern. After reviewing the intern's resume, Zheng Shu Yi realizes that the person is not a simple role, which gives her a headache.
