Episode 6 recap: Li Yi danced with a sword while Cui Lin accompanied him.

Commander Sun Jing wanted to trouble Cui Lin, so he asked her to dance in front of everyone. Cui Lin didn't respond to his words and continued playing the guzheng by herself. Li Yi told Sun Jing that Cui Lin had injured her leg and couldn't dance, so he offered to dance in her place. Li Yi took out his own sword, and Cui Lin accompanied him as he danced. Suddenly, Commander Sun Jing and his men burst into Han Li's residence. Sun Jing's bodyguards asked Han Li why he had secretly met with the Cui family's army and accused him of wrongdoing. The soldiers from the Cui family also arrived, knowing that Lieutenant He Cui Lin was in Han Li's residence.

The soldiers from the Cui family asked Han Li to bring Lieutenant He out to meet with them. Han Li told them that there were no soldiers from the Cui family in his residence. Sun Jing's men warned him not to try to deceive them, as they had already seen tight security in the backyard and suspected that an important person was being held captive. Han Li had no choice but to order his subordinates to bring out Cui Lin and Li Yi. Not knowing the situation, the two of them thought that they were being targeted, so they attacked the people who came to capture them.

After understanding the situation, Li Yi took Cui Lin to meet Han Li and Sun Jing's men. Cui Lin saw the soldiers from the Cui family and gestured to that person not to expose Li Yi. Instead of Sun Jing, one of his subordinates invited Li Yi to go to the capital. However, Li Yi was only concerned about Cui Lin's injuries.

The subordinate immediately became angry and asked Li Yi if he thought he was above everyone else. He criticized Li Yi for not even giving face to the commander and displaying such arrogant behavior. Han Li asked him not to be angry, as he knew that Li Yi was eager to please beautiful women and asked for his understanding. However, the subordinate did not share the same magnanimity and insisted that Cui Lin should still dance.

Li Yi said that her leg was injured and she couldn't dance, so she would dance in her place. Li Yi prepared to perform a sword dance and asked for a sword. Han Li offered his sword, but Li Yi said it was unnecessary and that he would use Han Li's sword. Han Li explained that his sword was a gentleman's sword and had no sharp edge, but Li Yi assured him that it was fine because he was only dancing with the sword, not killing anyone.

Cui Lin felt that since Li Yi wanted to dance with the sword, she would accompany him by playing the zither and singing. When the sword dance was about to end, Li Yi killed the men sent by Commander Sun Jing. He returned the sword to Han Li, who praised him for his splendid sword dance. Li Yi felt honored to be able to help Han Li in his time of trouble.

Li Yi asked Han Li if he had kept his promise to let Cui Lin leave, and Han Li agreed. Li Yi instructed Cui Lin to take good care of her injuries when she returned and escorted her to the door. Cui Lin took off the hairpin from her head and gave it to Li Yi, telling him that it was a good omen.

Li Yi remarked that it would be a pity if he lost such a beautiful head, wondering if anyone would mourn for him then. Cui Lin understood that Li Yi was saying this to comfort her and assured him that she wouldn't cry for him. When Cui Lin returned to the Cui family's army, the young master of the Cui family noticed that her hairpin was missing.

He asked Cui Lin where the hairpin had gone, and she said she had lost it in her panic. The young master said it was fine if it was lost and promised to make her a new one another day. After they left, Tao Zi asked the person who had returned with Cui Lin where her hairpin had gone. She knew that the hairpin was something her mother had left for her and that even if she lost her life, she wouldn't lose the hairpin.

But no matter how much Tao Zi asked, she couldn't get any information about the hairpin. She knew that Cui Lin was intentionally hiding it. Sun Jing's legal wife, Lady Wei Guo, was flying a kite when Consort Xiao took the opportunity to entangle her kite with hers. Lady Wei Guo went to reason with Consort Xiao, suggesting that they cut the strings. Consort Xiao agreed wholeheartedly and ordered her subordinates to cut Lady Wei Guo's kite string.

Lady Wei Guo watched as her kite flew away, feeling furious but unable to speak out. Han Li discovered that Li Yi was an impostor of the young master of the Cui family and became furious, ordering his subordinates to kill Li Yi. In the face of danger, Li Yi remained calm and told Han Li that he was actually a scholar who accompanied the young master of the Cui family and was unaware that he had become a discarded member of the family.

Han Li, realizing that Li Yi knew he was a discarded member, questioned his usefulness. Li Yi told him that he could help him in his dire situation and mentioned the food supplies that the Cui family's army had raided. He hoped that Han Li would join forces with the Zhenxi army to eliminate the Cui family's army, ensuring Han Li had no worries, and the Zhenxi army could obtain the food supplies.

Han Li temporarily imprisoned Li Yi in a dungeon but eventually decided to kill him. He sent his subordinates to bring poisoned food to Li Yi in the dungeon but unexpectedly, Li Yi killed the person instead.
