It's really good! As someone who managed to get the autographed first edition and waited in line for the second edition, I can say that Fei Dama, the screenwriter, doesn't need to worry about plot fidelity. The story flows smoothly, with exciting and fast-paced plot developments. The casting is excellent too. Jing Tian is truly stunning and beautiful, exuding a lively and heroic aura like Cui Lin. I used to think Xu Kai's acting skills were poor, but he really shines in this drama. Li Yi successfully portrays both the youthful and martial spirit. Of course, the drama still has flaws, like the weird hairstyle and some cheap-looking backgrounds and special effects. But the pros outweigh the cons, and as a fan of the novel, I'm already pleasantly surprised!

The original author took charge as the screenwriter, and this director's work is better than other popular directors nowadays. They don't show off their skills and their storytelling has a lot of depth. Xu Kai and Jing Tian's unexpected pairing works well, especially for Xu Kai's character. He portrays it effortlessly. One thing I particularly like about this drama is how the female character is written—truly courageous and stylish. I really like the character design. Looking forward to what comes next.

The first two episodes were the hardest to watch, and I almost didn't make it through. But it turns out that all the setup was worth it. The tenth episode was so sublime, it moved me to tears. The profound emotional connection between two individuals who are psychologically healthy, sensitive, and righteous, their love overflowing without even holding hands, knowing that they may not have a happy ending, yet still hoping that amidst the chaos, the heavens might favor them. It's truly marvelous! Every beautiful moment unfolds gently, love blossoms and intensifies, but remains unspoken due to their positions. It's sophisticated, incredibly sophisticated! In the showdown of modern historical dramas in November, I had the least expectations for this one because of the high initial threshold, but now I can't help but give it a full five stars. This drama, like the main characters, relies on its own strengths in the entertainment industry. Just as I hope for a happy ending for the main couple, I also hope for great success for this drama!

The quality of this drama is somewhere between watchable and skippable. There are quite a few childish aspects to it, but lately, there hasn't been a single drama worth watching, so I reluctantly settled for this one. The worst part is the headgear in this drama. The costumes and makeup are also unattractive, but the headgear is simply unbearable. In the third episode, when the female lead dressed up as a village woman, wearing such plain attire and revealing her forehead, it might be considered an ordinary look in other dramas, but I actually thought it was the most beautiful shot so far. You can imagine how frustrating the costume and makeup department must be. Is this an S-tier drama? It feels extremely half-hearted. The attractiveness of the male and female leads is completely wasted; they are portrayed as unattractive as possible. P.S. But there are so many scenes where Soso's facial modeling looks like a 3D animated character.

Drama addiction is real! Zeng Li seems to be playing a mother everywhere she goes. With such beauty, she deserves to be the lead actress in a hundred more dramas. The fight scene between Jing Tian and Liu Shishi is so intense that it's on the verge of exploding. I bet whichever side loses will face severe criticism. That hairstylist is truly wicked. Why isn't anyone calling them out? I've been tolerating them for so long. They always magically disappear, tormenting the faces of entertainment industry beauties. Can someone actually make a living with such skills?
Well, "One Thought" suddenly changed its schedule and was replaced by "Ning An." The pairing of Bailu and Zhang Linghe... just thinking about it is distressing. The curse of air-dropped dramas is that they are either poorly made or have unsatisfying endings. I would rather face the consequences myself. The November lineup is truly hard to evaluate. I wish all of you success! ????????????

I don't understand the significance of the recommended homepage. It's all about being overly cautious and blindly praising! This is just another cliché and melodramatic ancient love story. Jing Tian's cosmetic surgery is too obvious, and her hairstyle is both outdated and ugly. Her sense of aesthetics is regressing. Sisheng's choice of scripts is getting lower and lower. It's all dubbing now, and she seems to have lost any professional ambition. I thought Sisheng would be a turning point in her career, but it turned out to be a flash in the pan. Since then, she's been on a downward spiral.
Xu Kai is Yumama's favorite, full of dark history, but always playing characters who are deeply in love, romantic and pure. It attracts a wave of young fans, but the ugly hairstyle exposes the flaws in his face. He wasn't particularly good-looking to begin with. He only gained popularity because of his character Fu Heng.
Zeng Li and Yu Bo have the original voices, and their love-hate relationship in middle-aged roles has the taste of early works by the author Fei Wosi Cun. When their loved ones marry someone else or have feelings for someone else, they would do anything to snatch them back, even if it means causing chaos. They would torture each other, say harsh words, and only admit their love for each other when they lose each other. That's the typical plot in Fei Wosi Cun's early novels.

It's entertaining, but the character logic doesn't hold up when you think about it. For example, the entire palace was wiped out, but the imperial grandson survived and someone else took the throne. General Pei's logic is peculiar. And when the male lead's father was captured, he didn't seem too worried. There are also moments of enemy threat, but they prioritize finishing their meals. Zhu Hong Jia, it's been a long time since I've seen him. After all, he was the original Xiao Jian. The eternal love and enmity from the past can only be witnessed in the show as a bystander.

I completely dropped it after watching the 18th episode. What's with the recent episodes? The plot didn't progress at all. The noble cause of the nation became just a backdrop for the young couple's love play. The fake-looking pink flowers and green trees were devoid of any aesthetic appeal. Love must be accompanied by artificial scenery and forced discussions. In the earlier episodes, there were verbal battles and strategic maneuvers, but they disappeared later on. The annoying literary pairing, where every young girl must be paired with a young boy, was there. The early episodes had some passionate moments that I recommended, but after watching a few more episodes... it's become cliché, so cliché. I won't watch it anymore. ///////////// The first four episodes were clever in luring people in, but then it became all talk and unnecessary sugar-coating. Do they have to spin around in slow motion? Can't they show the chemistry without hugging and making eye contact? Ugh, it's frustrating.

I'm about halfway through the drama, and there are generally no major issues. I'm not particularly fond of the scene textures in Leyouyuan, but everything else is pretty good. The plot progresses quickly and smoothly, there are minor conflicts, but they are all resolved. The character development for the main leads and some important supporting roles is well done and solid. This is the most satisfying drama I've followed in the past year (the OST is also quite good).

The plot has a solid foundation thanks to Fei Dama, and it surpasses the overly artificial industrial sweeteners by a good margin. As long as the screenwriter doesn't mess it up, it won't collapse. It's been over a decade since ancient puppetry dramas, but we still rely on the people from that era for the storyline and filming. It's quite interesting. The production may follow a standard assembly line, but they were willing to spend money on hiring talented individuals. It's a shame that they didn't allocate the budget properly during filming, resulting in wasted effort and resources. I hope all the props, production, and sound teams remember one thing: it's a seven-stringed zither! A seven-stringed zither! It's embarrassing when people who claim to be gentlemen can't distinguish between a qin and a zheng. It damages their image.

The plot and pacing were good, and the character designs were decent, but the scene where the female lead and the prince were ambushed for the second time felt a bit forced. They had already fallen into an ambush once before and suffered greatly, so shouldn't the strong character of the female lead have dealt with it earlier? How could they fall into the same trap twice? It feels like they're trying to force the male lead to rescue the female lead. It really ruins the viewing experience. Feels like I've been served a ????.

Although I only followed for 3 episodes, I couldn't continue watching afterward... I don't like watching war scenes like this... How should I put it, normal speed is not satisfying, and at 1.5 times speed, I can't understand anything; I only see the main characters constantly clashing. However, I give it five stars, praising the production, praising the sweet romance, praising the scriptwriter Fei Wo Si Cun, and praising handsome guy Xu Kai.

If I had to summarize the entire drama, it would be "split personality." It wants to be both (focusing on family, country, and the people + "hostile" relationships + power struggle + comedic elements, can't we have a serious drama? ) This leads to a roller coaster-like viewing experience, constantly teetering on the edge of quitting or giving it another chance. The most pleasant surprise, however, is the action scenes. I've stuck with it solely because it's been a while since I've seen a live-action historical drama with captivating action choreography. The neighboring two stars go to the plot, while these two stars go to the action scenes.

I started watching this drama out of boredom, and surprisingly, it's pretty good. I'm hooked! I really like Xu Kai's costume, especially when he's slim. He looks incredibly handsome. The female lead has always maintained her sweet and beautiful appearance. The production quality is also quite impressive. It's definitely worth watching.

Jing Tian, fair-skinned and beautiful, her acting skills are not outstanding, but not disappointing either. She used to spin her wheels in movies and was often mocked, but now she has found the right path by venturing into TV dramas. Xu Kai, I didn't know him and didn't find him handsome, but I was surprised by how natural his performance was. He excels in both action scenes and dramatic scenes. It's worth looking forward to.
However, in the second episode, I suddenly lost interest and didn't feel like watching anymore.

As long as they don't make the "Fathead Fish" fat again like in the ancient times, and maintain a suitable youthful appearance, along with getting rid of the awkward dubbing, Xu Kai can still thrive in historical dramas. The sweet romance is truly beautiful, with a radiant and elegant charm. The script, written by Fei, has some noticeable bugs, but overall, it's not too bad. The directing doesn't have any bizarre camera movements or transitions, making it suitable for easy watching.
