Episode 3 recap: Mei Kaishao became a candidate for the position of Crown Prince's consort.
Mei Kaishao hurriedly explained to the Empress Dowager that she is the daughter of the Mei family, who has been weak and sickly since childhood. She had no intention of assassination and came here only to offer incense. However, they suddenly received an imperial edict changing it to Mei Kaishao. This made Zhang Shi extremely angry and confused.
