Episode 8 recap: Murong Hanbing felt jealous of Meikai Shao.
In order to please Meikai Shao, Murong Hanbing knew that she was going out to play, so he deliberately arranged a venue, played dice games, and chose between a daring adventure or drinking. The guards chose to play a truth or dare game and sincerely expressed their hope that Murong Hanbing would give them a raise. Eighth Prince Murong Zhao chose to drink. Meiao and Crown Prince Hou Lingfeng had a somewhat close relationship, so they took the opportunity to play matchmakers for Hou Lingfeng and Meikai Shao.
Just as Meikai Shao was about to answer, she saw the angry expression on Murong Hanbing's face, which made her unable to hold back her laughter. This angered Murong Hanbing, who warned Hou Lingfeng that if he didn't want to stay in the capital, he should go back to his own fiefdom. Hou Lingfeng, full of anger and unwillingness, drank the remaining wine in one gulp and left.
Murong Zhao also blamed Murong Hanbing for not leaving any room for maneuver and suggested giving Hou Lingfeng some face, but Murong Hanbing didn't buy it and left.
